In 2009 I was hired to work on audio prototyping for Tencent Boston's Chinese MMO project. After that, I designed and installed a state-of-the-art game audio postproduction room in their Concord, MA facility. The core is Pro Tools HD system with a Digdesign C24 Control Surface. Some outboard gear along with the necessary software and virtual instruments, and the studio was online.
The room was double-walled and insulated, along with a deep poured concrete floor and suspended ceiling. Bass traps, diffusors and absorbers were placed accordingly, per an acoustic analysis.
I also provided rapid prototyping for their (unreleased) MMO in 2009, and you can see and hear the finished product on the Soundscapes page.
